Motorsports "POS" Mustang Cobra Restoration Journal |
| Friday, August 7th, 2009, I purchased a non-running 1994 Mustang Cobra from a guy in Oldsmar FL (Tampa Bay area). He had advertised the car for sale on Craigslist and had many people call him about it, but I was the only one with a trailer. Here is a picture of the car that he emailed me:  Unfortunately, I was racing at Daytona that weekend, so my trailer was in use. So after arriving in Daytona with the RV, race car and F150 pickup, I took my F150 to Sanford to borrow Buddys trailer. I then drove to Oldsmar and picked up the car. Next I returned to Buddys and dropped off the car and trailer at his shop. Then I continued to the campground at Daytona were Tammy and Trinity were waiting. (Around 1:00 am) After we finished racing on Sunday, we went back to Buddys and picked up the car and trailer and brought them home. Quite a few people did a double-take at us as we drove home. An RV towing a 1994 Mustang Cobra race car, followed by an F150 pickup towing another 1994 Mustang Cobra. Not something you see everyday. Here is what the car looked like when I got it home: | ||

plan on doing a full restoration on the car and returning it to the
street as a weekend toy. This journal will document the transition from
a non-running "Piece of Sh**", to a fully restored Cobra Mustang. I give you, the "POS" Cobra. | ||
