TITANIUM Motorsports "POS" Mustang Cobra Restoration Journal
#1: August 9th, 2009 - Bringing it Home...

I unloaded the car into my garage and started to examine just what I had got for my $1400 dollars. About the only thing I checked on it on Friday night was the 8th digit of the VIN. A "D" in that location signifies that the car is a Mustang Cobra, and not just a GT that someone has bolted some 'Cobra' parts onto.
The previous owner said the car had 'electrical issues', and that's why its not running. You can see in the pictures where he hacked up the harness trying to wire-up the CCRM.
The engine bay was coated in mud. That should have been my first warning that water had been in this cars past.
The interior was missing parts and some modifications of questionable taste had been performed.
The front brake calipers were different on each side and the car had been repainted several times. The hood is a real 'Cobra R' hood from Ford Racing. It needs some repairs, the clear-coat is peeling and it has some cracks, but is a solid bouns.
