TITANIUM Motorsports "POS" Mustang Cobra Restoration Journal
#5: October 25th, 2009 - Disassembling the Body, Engine Compartment and Interior...
Next on the list is the disassembly of the Cobra. All the remaining under hood components, the front suspension, the body parts and all the interior and wiring.
What did I find? The dash was in good shape. The heater core was leaking.
The radiator support is bent on the bottom. I tried to straighten it, but I think I will ultimately be replacing it.
All the parts have been put in my attic for storage and some replacement parts have been acquired. A new wiring harness for the engine and CCRM came from eBay. The correct Mach 460 stereo-cassette and CD player were also acquired from eBay.

With the interior out, I can really see all the messed-up area on the floor and other damage. When I removed the B-pillar trim, I found out the B-pillar had also been replaced because it had a shipping tag still attached that showed it was sent to a Ford Dealer in Virginia in 1997. Now we know that the car was wrecked back then and the B-pillar, door, rocker panel and floor were all replaced. Oh, and the door was replaced with a used green one that was re-painted.
