| The
Steering Rack and P/S Cooler are the next parts to come out of the
attic and get installed on the car. The rack was cleaned-up and
treated to new inner and outer tie-rod ends in an earlier journal entry. The rack bushings are in good shape and will be reused. The P/S Cooler had not been touched since it was removed and needed some attention. First the unit was glass-beaded to remove the old paint and years of dirt. Next the bent fins on the cooler were straightened and finally, a fresh coat of paint. | ||
