#55: October 12th, 2011 - Installing the New Cobra Front Bumper Cover & Miscellaneous Small Parts...
I was waiting on the upper front suspension mounting parts to come back from powder-coating, so I started to clean, paint, bolt-on and trial-fit many of the parts that go under the hood and elsewhere on the car. The bolts, nuts, u-nuts and brackets were all blasted to remove any old paint and rust. Some of the parts were treated to a chemical rust-remover bath also. All parts were then give a coat of etching primer, and then top-coated with a 2K Urethane or Duplicolor Enamel paint.

The last couple of pictures above are the parts that were powder-coated. The solid motor-mounts are for the race car. Before I bolted on the front suspension, I went ahead and bolted the header panel, Styrofoam bumper absorber & new bumper cover into place.
