seems like no matter what I do to the POS Cobra, everything I remove
has rust underneath it. The windshield was no exception. I used my
Harbor Freight Multi-Tool to cut the old seal around the windshield and
again to remove the remaining sealer stuck to the windshield channel.
Then the air-grinder and 50 or so 80-grit disc were used in removing
the remaining sealer and tackling the rust. I went back and forth between grinding disc and Purple Power Rust remover to get rid of all the rust and prevent it's return. After it was all removed, a coat of etching primer and 'regular' primer finished off the bare metal.                     | ||
