PRI Show

The Lounge
2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona & The Roar before the 24

My friends Buddy & Marilyn Hendricks are running the show for a small, single-car team at this years Rolex 24. The car is owned and driven by Doug Peterson, and sponsored by his company, 3Dimensional Services.
Buddy came on-board, just before "The Roar Before the 24", held on January  4th-6th, and had only days to get the car ready.
The car, a Dodge Viper #87, running in Grand Am's GT class, was fast in early testing, moving up to the top of the time sheet at one point, but finished in 8th on the first day of testing.
Technical issues on Saturday meant the car was unable to better is 1:50.422 lap time, and gave the team a whole lot of work to do to get it ready for the upcoming race.

The pictures below were take by Marilyn and show the car on pit road on Friday, on the Grand Am Dyno, and then loading the car up for the trip over to Buddy's shop down the road in Sanford Fl to get the car ready for the 24.
Now at the shop, you can see quite the thrash is going on. Co-drivers Tony Ave and Jan Heylen are putting in 15 hour-days with Buddy trying to get all the issues fix and have the car back at the track on the 22nd, and ready for Grand Am's mandatory inspection on Wednesday, January 23rd.
I'll put up more pictures and information as I get them from Marilyn.
